Each year one of the largest churches in our town holds a production and festival for the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas. Lulu's friend and her Mum are actors in one part of the production called "The Road to Bethlehem". Lulu and I went to see them last night and it is amazing production. The Church is completely transformed into scenes from the Bible and the actors tell parts of the story of Christmas. There is also a large Choir and musical production. Lulu and I enjoyed the story and acting and it was great to focus on the Birth of Jesus as to why we celebrate Christmas and why family is so important.

There were cows and sheep and lots of teenage boys and girls dressed up as shepherds. In fact nearly everyone was dressed up either as parts of Jesus's story or in beautiful jackets as part of the "welcoming party" .

Lulu and her friend in the marketplace where her friend played a sick person healed by Jesus.

The spectacular Christmas lights display that looks craptastic in my camera shot.

On the way home we stopped at Lulu's second favourite restaurant (KFC is her first) and got tea. She looks like she has the Macca's sign growing out of her head. We also took Chocolate Sundaes home for the boys which made us very popular.

The best is the arches growing out of Lulu's head. She looks like an angel!
